SDExplorer complains about missing files and ask me to delete a song

When SDExplorer opens or refreshes an SD Card, it first verifies that all files that should be on the card are really there. If this verification fails, SDExplorer does not understand the card and will not make updates to it in order not to corrupt the card contents.

If during the verification, SDExplorer finds a song for which no files can be found, it will ask to delete the song.

If you select Yes, the verification will continue and when the complete card is verified correctly, it will update the card with the corrected song information.

If you select No, it will not update the song information but attempts to continue with the songs it can find.

The next time SDExplorer will typically find the same verification problems. Note that this should never happen. If it does, please let us know and we'll try to figure out what happened to your SD Card and how you can best continue.
