Tonight I wanted to try out some Styles and Sounds so I thought I would use this process as a speed test.

I launched KN-SDExplorer, created and named five directories that I would use for these Styles and Sounds.

I use Windows 8.1, so, in File Manager I navigated to the directories where I had saved the files on my computer.

I selected 16 Styles at a time (they were saved in groups of 16 and a group of 12), right click > copy on ALL the files in each directory and right-click paste in KNSD-Explorer.

Similarly for the sounds, which I pasted in the fifth directory.

Within each of the directories from which I was copying the files, there were several types of files, some of these aren't intended for the KN7000, such as text files, so KN-SDExplorer automatically filtered them out. In total, there were over 130 files in the directories on my computer.

All of the operations above took about two and a half minutes. I didn't have to check any names or file types, the program does that for you,

The result from my few minutes of work at the computer is that I'm now off to play with 60 new Styles and 120 instruments on my KN7000 for a few hours.

...which will be a welcome break from website programming for a little while!

Many thanks to JD for the files (and the break)!

[Edit: I was just thinking.., it took me longer to write about it than to do it!]
